| The LEATHERNECK PIPES & DRUMS have been awarded the Commendation for Meritorious Civilian Service by the Department of the Navy for their efforts on behalf of the United States Marine Corps. Band practices are conducted weekly and are a prelude to an exceptional performance and travel schedule. The band and color guard concentrate on promulgating the history and traditions of the United States Marine Corps through their music, pageantry and drill.
